Mayo Bridge Structural Analysis and Feasibility Study
Welcome to the Mayo Bridge Structural Analysis and Feasibility Study website. As part of the City of Richmond's commitment to the bridge's infrastructure, both the Mayo Bridge and Manchester Canal Bridge are being studied to determine if they require rehabilitation or replacement. This website is dedicated to providing the area's citizens, business owners, civic leaders, and the general traveling public with information and regular updates about the study. The present bridges were built in the early 1900’s and serve as critical transportation links for downtown Richmond, supporting U.S. Route 360, which is part of the National Highway System. We hope you will review the web pages and participate in this important community study.

Study Limits
The study area stretches along 14th Street from 2nd Street, on the south side of the James River, to Dock Street, on the River’s North Side. The Mayo Bridge, which is also known as the 14th Street Bridge, carries U.S. Route 360 between the Manchester area and downtown Richmond. |
